Glossary Term: Interconnector Metered Volume
When using an Interconnector, Elexon cannot measure the individual share of the energy that passes through that Interconnector, only the total energy imported or exported by the Interconnector. Therefore, the Metered Volumes allocated to the Interconnector BM Units will be deemed values, rather than actual Metered Volumes.
These deemed values are the volumes submitted into Settlement by the Interconnector Administrator, based on the external agreement for capacity and energy volumes with the operator of the Interconnector. For each Settlement Period only one of the two BM Units will be allocated a Metered Volume by the Interconnector Administrator, as any imports and exports are consolidated into a single MWh value for that period.
BSC defined definition
Is defined in Annex X-1. means, in relation to an Interconnector, the Metered Volume in respect of a Settlement Period;
The net aggregate volume of Active Energy, determined as at the Transmission System Boundary, which flowed from or to the relevant Interconnector in Settlement Period j.
