Glossary Term: Interconnector

An interconnector is a high-voltage cable that connects the electricity systems of neighbouring countries or regions. These interconnectors allow for the trading of electricity between different markets, enabling the transfer of surplus energy from one area to another.

Each physical Interconnector has an Interconnector Administrator and an Interconnector Error Administrator, both of which are also BSC Parties.
