This page provides data showing progress in moving metering systems to the new half‑hourly settlement arrangements under the Market‑wide Half‑Hourly Settlement (MHHS) programme.
Legacy and MHHS metering systems: total counts and volumes
This is a visual overview of how many metering points are settled under the new half hourly settlement arrangements and the amount of energy they represent.
Key to this data
- MSID count: number of metering system identifiers (MSIDs)
- II (Interim Information) settlement run: first early estimate of energy use for settlement purposes
- SF (Initial Settlement): updated estimate with more actual data
- R1 (First Reconciliation): first proper correction
- R2 (Second Reconciliation): further corrections as more accurate data becomes available
- R3 (Third Reconciliation): near-final update
- RF (Final Reconciliation): final, settled position with no further changes expected
Migration progress by supplier
This table shows the progress of individual suppliers in migrating metering systems to the new MHHS arrangements, and compares their position to the previous month. Suppliers have been anonymised.
Key to this data
- Size: supplier size defined by energy share. Large is greater than 2% share, medium is greater than 0.5%, small is 0.5% and under
- Progress: percentage of MSIDs migrated to MHHS
- Rank: place in league table ranged by progress, where 1 is first place, indicating greatest progress
- Change: change in league table position since previous month. 0 is no change, negative number means position moved down, a positive number means position moved up
