Glossary Term: Self Assessment Document
The Self-Assessment Document (SAD) is part of the qualification process for becoming a Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC) Party. This document is used to assess whether an applicant’s systems, processes, and staff knowledge meet the necessary standards to participate in the electricity market.
BSC defined definition
The document completed by SVA Qualification and re-Qualification Applicants in accordance with BSCP537 ‘Qualification Process for SVA Parties, SVA Party Agents and CVA MOAs’. The SAD is an appendix 1 of BSCP537.
