Glossary Term: Power Park Module
A Power Park Module (PPM) is a unit or group of units generating electricity, which is either: non-synchronously connected to the network; or connected through power electronics. PPMs also have a single connection point to a transmission, distribution, or HVDC system.
Electricity generated from sources like solar, wind, tidal, or wave power, but which do not produce a constant output. This generation is connected to the GB transmission network or distribution system through a single connection point and is equipped with operational metering.
