Glossary Term: Indicative Period Balancing Mechanism Bid Cashflow

Acronym: ICBnij

The Indicative Period Balancing Mechanism Bid Cashflow (ICBnij) refers to the cashflow associated with bids made by market participants to reduce their electricity generation during a specific period. The ICBnij is calculated based on specific rules outlined in the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC).

BSC defined definition

The Indicative Period BM Unit Bid Cashflow (ICBnij ) in accordance with the rules in Section T3 save that in each case the terms ETLMO+, ETLMO-, IQABnij, IQAOnij, ICBnij and ICOnij shall (for the purposes of this paragraph 2.6 only) be substituted for the terms TLMO+, TLMO-, QABnij, QAOnij, CBnij and COnij in Section T. Determined in accordance with Section V2.6.6.
