Volker Beckers, Industry Non-Executive Director at Elexon and Chairman of Cornwall Insight is the after dinner speaker at the conference and is talking about “Imagination and Reality” in the energy industry.

Nicholas Rubin, Market Architect at Elexon, is a guest speaker at the conference and is discussing “Unlocking the benefits to end consumers”.

Ofgem are running a Settlement Reform workshop on 1 October 2018 and is inviting stakeholders to attend. Ofgem will present and discuss the emerging findings from its consultation on access to half-hourly data for Settlement purposes.

We are carrying out maintenance on BSC Central Systems from 23:00 (BST) 6 October 2018 to 05:00 (BST) 7 October 2018. This could result in temporary issues with connectivity.

We are carrying out IT system maintenance  between 12:00 (BST) and 16:00 (BST) on Thursday 11 October 2018. This is an Elexon IT systems outage and will not affect the BSC Central Systems.

UK time changes on Sunday 28 October will result in a ‘long’ day where there are 50 Settlement Periods instead of the standard 48.

During the period of planned downtime, the BMRS will not load or publish data via the website, APIs and Data Push Service.

In addition, users of the TIBCO service will not receive any TIBCO messages via their High Grade Communications Lines and European Transparency Regulation (ETR) data will not be sent to ENTSO-E Transparency Platform...

National Grid will be upgrading their systems between 09:00 and 14:00 on 8 November. During this time, Market Participants may experience connectivity issues with Electronic Data Transfer (EDT) which may affect Gate Closure Data (PN and BOD) submissions.
