To remove your DIP user account
If you no longer wish to be a DIP User, email [email protected] with the following information:
- the reason for no longer wishing to be a DIP User
- proposed DIP departure date
- if applicable, whether the code bodies for the Industry Code(s) to which they are a Party have been informed
- any other assurances and/or information as required elsewhere in the DIP rules.
The DIP Manager will:
- log the request
- liaise with code bodies
- ensure that all outstanding DIP charges have been paid
Suspension from the DIP
There may be circumstances in which the DIP Manager removes your access to the DIP. This is referred to as involuntary offboarding.
This could be because of a breach of DIP Rules or an Industry Code, or following Authority decision.
In this situation, you will be notified by email. We will tell you:
- The reason your access is being revoked
- The date your access will cease
You then have 5 working days to respond if you disagree to the proposed date.
You can find a full explanation of the rules on involuntary offboarding in rule DSD002 4.3.2.
Full details of both the voluntary and involuntary offboarding processes can be found in the DIP offboarding Guidance Note:
