Becoming a Smart Secure Electricity Systems (SSES) participant enables you to take part in specific governance processes, including voting in the SSES Technical and Security Governance Group elections and accessing relevant materials.
We encourage you to register if you are eligible; if you do not register, you cannot vote. The registration process is quick and easy.
As a SSES participant, you will be able to:
- vote for members of the SSES Technical Governance Group (TGG)
- vote for members of the SSES Security Governance Group (SGG)
- vote to appoint the governance group Chairs
- have access to information for SSES Participants only
- participate in SSES governance processes (e.g. change processes, consultations).
You can register if your organisation meets the eligibility criteria and is one of the following:
- Load Controller
- Flexibility Service Provider (FSP)
- Energy Smart Appliance (ESA) Provider
- Distribution Network Operator (DNO)
Acceptance of your registration as a SSES participant will be on the basis that your organisation is in scope of the SSES Programme as determined by DESNZ through its consultations and government consultation responses.
