Our governance framework

The market facilitator\u2019s governance framework is built around five core documents. These documents set out the processes and structure that guide how the market facilitator operates and engages with stakeholders<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\t

The five key documents are:<\/p>\n

  • Delivery Plan & Annual Delivery Schedule<\/strong> – outlines priorities, milestones, and timelines for the market facilitator<\/li>\n
  • Implementation Monitoring<\/strong> – tracks adoption of agreed rules and processes by Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and the National Energy System Operator (NESO)<\/li>\n
  • Enduring Change Management<\/strong> – defines how changes to rules and market arrangements are proposed, assessed, and implemented<\/li>\n
  • Stakeholder Advisory Board Terms of Reference (ToRs)<\/strong> – sets out the role, membership, and responsibilities of the Stakeholder Advisory Board (SAB)<\/li>\n
  • Flexibility Market Rules Framework<\/strong> – describes how flexibility services operate and the standards that apply across Great Britain<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Stakeholder Advisory Board (SAB)

    The Stakeholder Advisory Board (SAB) provides independent advice to the market facilitator. It brings together representatives from different sectors to highlight emerging issues and provide strategic guidance.
