Our risk management approach is based on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a central risk register \u2013 the DIP Manager Risk Evaluation Document (DM RED)<\/li>\n<li>a set of planned actions \u2013 the Risk Operating Plan (DM ROP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\t<section class=\"section\">\n\t\t<div class=\"centering small\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"section-title\">What we mean by 'risk' <div class=\"small-decoration\"><\/div><\/h2>\n\t\t\t  \n\t\t\t<div class=\"section-text\">\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<p>A risk is anything that could:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>affect the availability or performance of DIP<\/li>\n<li>cause incorrect, late or missing data flows<\/li>\n<li>lead to non\u2011compliance with DIP Rules or other obligations<\/li>\n<li>harm market participants or end consumers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The DIP Manager records, assesses and regularly reviews these risks so we can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>spot issues early<\/li>\n<li>prioritise the most important risks<\/li>\n<li>plan and track actions to reduce them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\t<section class=\"section\">\n\t\t<div class=\"centering small\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"section-title\">Our annual risk management cycle <div class=\"small-decoration\"><\/div><\/h2>\n\t\t\t  \n\t\t\t<div class=\"section-text\">\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<p>The DIP Assurance Strategy follows the financial year and aligns with the industry\u2019s Performance Assurance Operating Period (PAOP).
