This ensures changes are made in a controlled and auditable manner.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\n\t\t<section class=\"section\">\n\t\t<div class=\"centering small\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"section-title\">Proposing a change <div class=\"small-decoration\"><\/div><\/h2>\n\t\t\t  \n\t\t\t<div class=\"section-text\">\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<p>Any person can submit a DIP Change Request (CR) \u2013 regardless of whether they are a DIP User.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/elexon-beta.elexonhostings.co.uk\/data-integration-platform\/changes-releases\/how-the-change-process-works\/change-request-proposal-form\/\">Submit a change request<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you want to submit a change request in a different way or need help developing it, please contact the DIP Manager for advice and support.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\t<section class=\"section\">\n\t\t<div class=\"centering small\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"section-intro\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"section-title\">How change requests are assessed and decided<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-group\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-title\">1. Initial assessment<\/div>\n                        <div class=\"accordion-panel\">\n                            <div class=\"panel-inner\">  \n\t                            <div class=\"section-text\">                          \t\t                            \t\n\t                                <p>When you submit a change request, it is first reviewed and assessed by the DIP Manager.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You may be contacted if further information is needed<\/li>\n<li>If the change is to be progressed, the DIP Manager will determine the appropriate progression route and explain the rationale, based on the type of change<\/li>\n<li>This will be documented and published as an<strong>\u00a0Initial Assessment<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For changes with cross-code impacts, the DIP Manager consults the Cross Code Steering Group (CCSG) and is bound by its determination.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\t                            <\/div>\n                            <\/div>\n                        <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-group\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-title\">2. Consultation on proposed changes<\/div>\n                        <div class=\"accordion-panel\">\n                            <div class=\"panel-inner\">  \n\t                            <div class=\"section-text\">                          \t\t                            \t\n\t                                <p class=\"mb-2 whitespace-pre-wrap\">As part of the assessment, the DIP Manager may:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>run consultations to gather feedback on:\n<ul>\n<li>impacts<\/li>\n<li>costs<\/li>\n<li>implementation timescales<\/li>\n<li>impact on DIP Objectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Consultations typically last at least <strong>15 working days<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>convene workgroups to support the assessment or development of the change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t                            <\/div>\n                            <\/div>\n                        <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-group\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-title\">3. Final assessment<\/div>\n                        <div class=\"accordion-panel\">\n                            <div class=\"panel-inner\">  \n\t                            <div class=\"section-text\">                          \t\t                            \t\n\t                                <p>Following consultation and further analysis, the DIP Manager prepares a <strong>Final Assessment<\/strong>, which includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a summary of the change<\/li>\n<li>assessment of impacts<\/li>\n<li>cost\u2013benefit analysis<\/li>\n<li>proposed implementation date<\/li>\n<li>assessment against DIP Objectives<\/li>\n<li>recommendations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If the change requires amendments to the DIP Rules, the Final Assessment Report will also include the proposed drafting changes.<\/p>\n\t                            <\/div>\n                            <\/div>\n                        <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-group\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-title\">4. Decision making<\/div>\n                        <div class=\"accordion-panel\">\n                            <div class=\"panel-inner\">  \n\t                            <div class=\"section-text\">                          \t\t                            \t\n\t                                <p>Decisions on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>changes to the DIP system, or<\/li>\n<li>amendments to DIP Subsidiary Documents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>are made either by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the\u00a0<strong>DIP Manager<\/strong>, or<\/li>\n<li>the\u00a0<strong>DIP Change and Advisory Board (DCAB)<\/strong>, an advisory board of industry representatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DIP Manager decisions<\/strong><br \/>\nThe DIP Manager may approve non\u2011material changes (e.g. housekeeping), such as minor system updates or document clarifications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DCAB decisions (material changes)<\/strong><br \/>\nThe DCAB makes decisions on changes that meet any of the following materiality criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>implementation cost greater than\u00a0<strong>\u00a3500,000<\/strong>\u00a0for the DIP Manager and\/or\u00a0<strong>\u00a3250,000<\/strong>\u00a0for DIP users<\/li>\n<li>new obligations on DIP users and\/or the DIP Manager that require a change to a DIP user\u2019s business operating model<\/li>\n<li>an implementation date more than\u00a0<strong>24 months<\/strong>\u00a0after the date of decision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t                            <\/div>\n                            <\/div>\n                        <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-group\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-title\">5.
