Standard releases are scheduled three times a year, February, June and November. Monthly releases occur on the second Thursday of each month for system‑only changes, and non‑standard or emergency releases may occur at any time based on business needs.

The aim of the release note is to provide a view of the changes implemented by the 8.1.3 release. At present the release is currently in testing and is due for deployment in March 2026. 72724 – CP1629 – Introduction of IF-051 interface
This release introduces a new interface on the back of the CP1629 change request. The change will deliver a ‘Data Refresh’ message for bulk data correction between the Data Integration Platform (DIP), Electricity Enquiry Service (EES), and Market-wide Data Service (MDS). This process is exclusively for major incidents and will not replace routine discrepancy corrections under the existing MHHS design.
68346: Separate Retries from Failures in Performance Graphs
This change will display retries as a separate chart segment from failures on the DIP Performance Dashboard, so that users can more accurately distinguish between genuine failures and retry events, aiding better operational insight and troubleshooting.
72724: Message Admin Status Page – Start Date Filter Instruction
This change will Improves accuracy and reliability of message filtering by ensuring DIP Message Admins select a valid start date before applying filters. This reduces risk of incomplete or misleading data views, supports effective operational monitoring, and strengthens confidence in the DIP Portal as a regulatory reporting tool.
73643: Portal Replay/Requeue – Increase Volume Limit and Add Second-Level Filtering
This feature introduces two updates: the date time picker now includes second-level granularity, and the page limit has been raised from 350 to 1000.
72332: Improve visibility of “Expiry Date” text on DIP Portal
Accessibility Improvements – To meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards and reduce eye strain, the expiry date is shown using a colour that stands out from the background.
69438: DIP Portal Performance Reporting Enhancements
The DIP performance dashboard now includes:
- tooltips for feature explanations, input fields, and results
- median latency metrics
- interface ID filters with multi-select
- weekly report bar labels show date ranges
67895: Enhancement – Enforce First Cert Admin Role Selection in DIP Portal
To ensure compliance with CoCo v1.6; (Sections 5.2, 5.4.2.2, 5.4.2.3) and DIP Rules, enhance the DIP Portal to support explicit identification and validation of the “First Cert Admin” during onboarding and subsequent administration of Cert Admins.
61568: Message Tracker Improvements
The current message tracker screen is only available to the Senders of messages. With this change the screen has been extended to include a Recipient view of messages. The Message Tracker screen allows users to track business process either using Sender Unique reference, Transaction Id MPAN or correlation ID.

This release introduces new API Stop/Start Features that enhance the DIP Manager’s and Market Participants ability to control Ingress and Egress traffic at multiple levels. - Message Tracker Changes
Message Tracker now includes Paused and Retried indicators, providing portal users with clearer visibility into potential causes of message delays. - Extended MDR/SDS Functionality – MDR Flag
DIP Manager can now assign an extended status to MDR and SDS DIP IDs that have undergone additional certification on the IF-061 to IF-065 message flows. - DCP Ids to work off ranges for each DCP
This enhancement enables easier identification and management of DCPs by clearly associating each DCP ID with its respective organisation. Range assignment can only be done by DIP Support team. - Textual Identifier to Differentiate DIP Environments (UIT vs Production)
DIP now displays a clear textual label in the UI indicating whether the user is in the UIT or PRD environment. This update improves accessibility by ensuring users can confidently distinguish between environments without relying solely on colour cues. SITB Portal Feature Enablement DIP application can now be used to manage users and certificate as requested by the DIP Manager - Minor Fixes and Improvements
Error messages return from the backend services are less verbose and more detailed with valuable insights, being presented in a more user-friendly manner with meaningful reasoning in the toaster notifications. duplicate error messages are no longer being hidden.
