What is the issue?

During various Market-wide Half Hourly Settlement Programme (MHHSP) workshops and sessions it had been acknowledged that some of the Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) are incorrect. MHHS Programme Change CR054 was raised to address the issue. This DIP CR is required to make corresponding updates to the DIP Rules.

What is the proposed solution?

This DIP CR proposes updates to DSD002 Annex 21 in order to align with the MHHSP design following the implementation of CR054. As some of the changes resulting from CR054 relate to transition requirements, these will not be included in the DIP Rules.

Additionally, some requirements have already been updated in line with CR054 as part of
DCR0001.  The amendments included as part of this DIP CR are:

  • The addition of a new paragraph (11.4.2) detailing the asynchronous response time requirements for DIP User systems;
  • The addition of a new paragraph specifying the asynchronous response time requirements for BSC Systems connected to the DIP; and
  • The addition of a new paragraph specifying the asynchronous response time requirements for Registration Services, UMSOs and DNOs.

Status

The status is ‘implemented’.  See explanation of what happens in each of the phases of the change process.
