A known display defect is affecting how some IF-040 messages appear in the Data Integration Platform (DIP), but it does not impact actual message delivery or processing.

During the change of Data Service on some MPANs, some IF-040 (Notification of Calculated Annual Consumption) messages are displayed as “not received” in the Data Integration Platform (DIP), with a cross (X) shown against the received status, even though the message has been successfully delivered.

You may be seeing this issue if:

  • An IF-040 message appears as not received in the DIP
  • A cross (X) is shown against the received status
  • There is no rejection or functional error associated with the message.

This is a known display issue and will be resolved as part of the March release. No action is required. Market participants can ignore this indicator, provided that:

  • The IF-040 message is not followed by additional errors, and
  • There are no other failed messages or crosses relating to the same process

If other errors are present, those should continue to be investigated as normal.
