This Issue seeks to explore enduring solutions which allow correct reporting to EMRS of chargeable volumes for Supplier Volume Allocation (SVA) Metering Systems that record both exempt supply and licensed supply. There is currently no process that allows for allocation of appropriate volumes where a portion should be exempt and another portion should be licensable.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ui-provider vz b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak\" dir=\"ltr\">The Workgroup explored five different potential solutions and concluded that a BSC Modification should be raised to allow a Supplier or third-party agent to be involved in ex-post splitting of metered volumes into exempt and licenced supply. This has been raised as&#xA0;<a href=\"https:\/\/elexon-beta.elexonhostings.co.uk\/bsc\/mod-proposal\/p442\/\">P442<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-group\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"accordion-title\" tabindex=\"0\" id=\"history\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Progression<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-panel\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"panel-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Issue Report was presented to the BSC Panel and closed on 9 March 2023.&#xA0;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/elexon-beta.elexonhostings.co.uk\/bsc\/meeting\/issue-96-workgroup-3\/\">third Issue 96 Workgroup meeting<\/a> was held on 1 June 2022 where a further potential solution was discussed. The WG considered Option 2C and whether it should be progressed along side Option 3.&#xA0;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/elexon-beta.elexonhostings.co.uk\/bsc\/meeting\/issue-96-workgroup-2\/\">second Issue 96 Workgroup meeting<\/a> was held on Wednesday 16 March 2022, where detailed proposals for the two shortlisted options were discussed in more detail. The WG decided that a Modification should be progressed for Option 3, to create the Exempt Supply Calculation Agent (ESCA) role.&#xA0;<\/p>\n<p>Issue 96 was raised by UC Energy Ltd on 6 August 2021. The <a href=\"https:\/\/elexon-beta.elexonhostings.co.uk\/bsc\/meeting\/issue-96-workgroup-1\/\">first Issue 96 meeting<\/a> was held on Friday 10 September 2021 where four different potential enduring solutions for exempt supply were discussed.
