These versions are not time limited in the same way as other documents. When Metering Equipment is first registered in Settlement, it must comply with the requirements which are set out in the relevant Code of Practice in place at that time.<\/p>\n<p>Metering Equipment installed under an Alpha CoP (or Scottish CoP for that matter) only needs to comply with the Alpha CoPs (or Scottish CoPs) unless a material change is made to an item of Metering Equipment (Section L3.3). Any materially changed item of Metering Equipment needs to comply with the current version of the relevant CoP.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/elexon-beta.elexonhostings.co.uk\/bsc\/bsc-and-codes\/codes-practice-compliance-protocol-approvals\/\">Codes of Practice Compliance and Protocol Approvals<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/elexon-beta.elexonhostings.co.uk\/bsc\/bsc-and-codes\/alpha-codes-of-practice\/\">Alpha Codes of Practice &#x2013; obsolete for new registrations since 1993<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/elexon-beta.elexonhostings.co.uk\/bsc\/bsc-and-codes\/codes-of-practice-settlement-agreement-for-scotland\/\">Codes of Practice: Settlement Agreement for Scotland &#x2013; obsolete for new registrations since 2005<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/bscdocs.elexon.co.uk\/interface-definition-documents\">Interface Definition Documents<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>The IDD Part 1 and Part 2 documents list both fully-automated electronic interfaces and other partially-automated or manual interfaces; the spreadsheets list the fully-automated electronic interfaces.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/bscdocs.elexon.co.uk\/user-requirements-specifications\">User Requirement Specifications<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>The User Requirement Specifications set out the requirements for each of the Central Systems applications, the two Party Agent applications and the PARMS application (but not for the SVAA &#x201C;minor&#x201D; applications).<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/bscdocs.elexon.co.uk\/service-descriptions\">Service Descriptions<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>The BSC Service Descriptions describe the service to be provided by the BSC Agents. As a general rule, there is one BSC Service Description for each BSC Agent. The exception to this rule is for the Technical Assurance Agent (TAA) which has two, one for SVA and one for CVA.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"category-3-documents\">Category 3 Documents<\/h2>\n<p>BSC documents not falling into any other category of Code Subsidiary Documents.
