The detailed profile data can be purchased under licence.&#xA0;Details are provided on the Data Flows webpage:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/elexon-beta.elexonhostings.co.uk\/bsc\/about\/other-services\/data-flows\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Data Flows &#x2013; Elexon<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>BSC parties are entitled to other levels of profile data depending on their Market Role.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&#xA0;<\/p>\n<div class=\"panel-header\">\n<h3 class=\"panel-title\">What are the Approved weather stations?<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel-content\">\n<p>The temperature data is provided to the SVA Agent on a daily basis by the Meteorological Office and is collected for each GSP Group from weather stations that are approved for use by the Supplier Volume Allocation Group (SVG).<\/p>\n<p>You can download a list of the approved weather stations on the&#xA0;<a class=\"external-link wpel-icon-right\" title=\"Elexon Portal\" href=\"http:\/\/www.elexonportal.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Elexon Portal<\/a>. [You will need to login to see this data].<\/p>\n<p>&#xA0;<\/p>\n<div class=\"panel-header\">\n<h3 class=\"panel-title\">What data is used in Profiling?<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel-content\">\n<p>The Profile Administrator collects half-hourly demand data from customers in the profiling samples.<\/p>\n<p>The Profile Administrator uses temperature data from each GSP Group in the creation of Profiling data. The Supplier Volume Allocation Agent (SVA Agent) uses the out-turn temperature data to calculate Daily Profile Coefficients.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&#xA0;<\/p>\n<div class=\"panel-header\">\n<h3 class=\"panel-title\">How are Profile Classes allocated?<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel-content\">\n<p>The method of allocating a Profile Class is dependent on whether:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>i. the Metering System Identifier (MSID) is Import or Export;<\/li>\n<li>ii. meter usage is Domestic or Non-Domestic;<\/li>\n<li>iii. meter has &#x2018;switched load&#x2019; capabilities;<\/li>\n<li>iv.
