Glossary Term: Range CCGT Module

Range Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Module is a CCGT Module where there is a physical connection by way of a steam or hot gas main between that CCGT Module and another CCGT Module or other CCGT Modules, which connection contributes (if open) to efficient modular operation, and which physical connection can be varied by the operator. There is also a Normal CCGT Module which refers to a CCGT Module other than a Range CCGT Module.

Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Module, or CCGT Module, is a collection of Generating Units (registered as a CCGT Module under the Planning Code) comprising one or more Gas Turbine Units (or other gas based engine units) and one or more Steam Units where, in normal operation.
