Glossary Term: Half Hourly Meter

A Half Hourly Meter is a type of electricity meter used by electricity businesses to record the customers’ energy consumption at half hourly intervals. The Half-hourly (HH) meter allows suppliers to divide energy usage information into 30-minute blocks and gives the supplier an accurate picture of the energy consumption.

This is in comparison to Non Half Hourly meter equipment or data that is for a time period other than half hourly, normally monthly or longer.
