Glossary Term: Central Registration Service

Acronym: CRS

Each Party must register, in accordance with BSCP65, and ensure that it remains registered in the Central Registration Service (CRS). A Party shall apply for registration in CRS by submitting to the Central Registration Agent (CRA) its Party registration data and the date from which it wishes its registration to be effective.

The Central Registration Agent (CRA) manages market participant registrations as a correct record of all Metering Systems within Great Britain is required for accurate Settlement.

means the service for registration of data maintained (for the purposes of the Code) by the Central Registration Agent as described in Sections A4 and K;
