DESCRIPTION:Elexon is hosting the Commissioning November Release Changes Education Day on 7 June 2018\, from 10:00 to 16:00. \nThis education day is targeted at Licensed Distribution System Operators\, Half Hourly Meter Operators\, Half Hourly Suppliers and is intended to give an overview of the following BSC Change Proposals\, to be implemented on 1 November 2018\, as part of the November 2018 Release: \n\nCP1495 ‘Introduction of a rejection response dataflow for a D0170 ‘Request for Meter System Related Details’ request from the Meter Operator Agent to the Licensed Distribution System Operator where a D0215 ‘Provision of Site Technical Details’ response is required’ (and related MRA Change DTC CP 3523).\nCP1496 ‘Introduction of two data flows for the Commissioning process for Half Hourly (HH) Supplier Volume Allocation (SVA) Current Transformer (CT) operated Metering Systems’ (and related MRA Change DTC CP 3522).\nCP1497 ‘Introduction of data flows for Half Hourly Meter Operator Agents to pass on Commissioning information when there is a Change of Agent’.\n\nThe day will also give an opportunity to participants to ask any questions that they may have related to the implementation of these changes. SUMMARY:Half Hourly Settlement design stakeholder event
DESCRIPTION:Elexon is leading on the design of the Target Operating Model (TOM) to deliver market-wide Half Hourly Settlement. We are doing this is through the Design Working Group (DWG) made up of industry specialists with consumer representation\, BEIS and Ofgem. This work forms a crucial element of Ofgem’s Significant Code Review (SCR) on Electricity Settlement Reform. \nThe DWG has now developed five draft Target Operating Models (TOMs) which describe options for the end-to-end Settlement process for Half Hourly Settlement. \nThe aim of the event is to inform a wider audience on the Settlement design work to date and the draft TOMs. Elexon will present the work of the DWG\, its approach to the TOM development and initial conclusions. \nIn detail at the event\, we will present the assumptions and methodology used by the DWG in development of the five draft TOMs. We will then walkthrough each TOM with DWG’s initial thinking on the advantages and disadvantages of each TOM. There will be an opportunity for questions and comments from the audience. \nOfgem will also provide an update on their policy work on access to data for Half Hourly Settlement. \nIt is anticipated that this event will be popular amongst industry and spaces are limited. DESCRIPTION:Elexon is hosting an industry event on Thursday 15 February 2018\, focussed on reflections on the P272 Modification and migration process. \nWe would like to use this opportunity to elicit feedback from stakeholders across the industry as to the successes and struggles they faced during the planning and implementation phases of the P272 process.  This also includes the impact of the associated changes\, such as P300 and P322. \nThe output from the day will be combined with the discussions from the Issue 69 workgroup (Performance Assurance Framework Review) and feedback at other recent Industry events\, to ensure all aspects are considered for any future work\, such as the on-going Half Hourly Settlement work streams.  The day will consist of a combination of whole-group presentations and Q&A sessions\, as well as smaller group discussions. \nWe would encourage attendance from any companies or individuals with direct experience of P272\, P300 or P322\, and ask that all attendees come to the day prepared to contribute to the discussion and highlight both triumphs and frustrations from the process. \nRegistration is available on a first-come\, first-served basis.  However\, if the event is over-subscribed\, we may have to limit the number of delegates that can attend from a single company.  Ahead of the event\, we will circulate a more detailed agenda\, including key questions to help guide and focus the feedback sessions. \nIf you have any questions\, please contact P272implementation@elexon.co.uk.

To be added to the waiting list\, please email events@elexon.co.uk \nWhat is Project TERRE?\nProject TERRE (Trans European Replacement Reserve Exchange) is a European project to implement a new Replacement Reserve (RR) balancing product\, which is being developed by a group of European Transmission System Operators (TSOs)\, including National Grid. The product is required to fulfil requirements on TSOs from incoming European legislation through the European Electricity Balancing Guideline (EB GL). Among other things\, the EB GL requires those TSOs that choose to use Replacement Reserve (RR) (balancing energy products with a >15 minute lead time) as a balancing product to implement and make operational a new European platform for the exchange of energy. \nProject TERRE will enable all TERRE participating Balancing Service Providers (BSPs) (defined as a market participant with reserve-providing groups able to provide balancing services to TSOs) to submit bids to National Grid on an hourly basis to fulfil 15 minute delivery periods. \nBSC Modification P344 ‘Project TERRE implementation into GB market arrangements’ and Grid Code Modification GC0097 ‘Grid Code Processes Supporting TERRE’ seek to implement the TERRE product in the GB electricity market. \nBoth Modifications will be issued for Industry Consultation during January 2018\, and this event will educate market participants about the project and enable questions to be answered by the Elexon and National Grid TERRE implementation teams. \nWhat topics will be covered?\nThe TERRE Industry Day will cover: \n\nWelcome and introduction to Elexon\nIntroduction to Project TERRE – What is it?\nThe detail of the GB solution – from bids to dispatch to Settlement\nImplementation timescales of the product\nThe P344 and GC0097 Industry Consultations\nQuestion and Answer Session with the GB Project TERRE Teams\n\nWho can attend?\nAny interested industry participant is welcome to attend the TERRE Industry Day\, subject to confirmation of securing a place at the event.
