SUMMARY:Industry Information Day: EU-wide Cost Benefit Analysis on changes to Imbalance Settlement Period
DESCRIPTION:The European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) is carrying out a cost benefit analysis on harmonising the imbalance settlement period across Europe. A total of four time periods may be assessed: 30\, 15\, 10 and 5 minutes. \nOn Monday 16 November\, Elexon\, in collaboration with National Grid and Energy UK\, will host an industry information day on the forthcoming cost benefit analysis from ENTSO-E that will take place between early November and mid-December. \nThe purpose of this event is to help ensure that UK industry responses are consistent and that there is a common understanding of the issue. Background briefings will be provided by National Grid\, Ofgem\, Elexon and Energy UK and we hope to have participation from the company undertaking the EU-wide cost benefit analysis to help answer questions. \nTo register your interest\, please email events@elexon.co.uk.
