We invited industry feedback on Elexon’s approach to updating the Guidance Notes and Simple Guides.

Outcome
We requested MHHS Participants and other interested third parties to provide feedback on the scope and approach to BSC Guidance documents for MHHS.
This RFI closed on 11 October 2024. All 7 Respondents to the RFI agreed with Elexon’s prioritisation approach. Stakeholders provided the following areas which new MHHS Guidance Notes should cover:
- Agent roles
- Settlement data processing
- Managing settlement performance, Settlement targets and the Settlement calendar
- Load shaping
- Performance Assurance regime
- Migration prior to M10
Original consultation
All BSC documents needed for Market Wide Half Hourly Settlement (MHHS) Participants to deliver MHHS have already been drafted and will be delivered as part of P478 ‘Implementation of MHHS Arrangements’, in line with the MHHS Implementation Timetable. These documents make up the BSC legal baseline (which is defined in the BSC Baseline Statement).
In addition to these legal documents, we also provide guidance to customers on the arrangements in the form of Guidance Notes and Simple Guides.
