Changes coming to the Elexon website

Elexon has been working on a new look website to help improve your experience. Our aim is to bring all of the different content areas together so that you can successfully navigate around these and access content more easily. There are several phases to the project, and this is the first step.

Why are we making these changes?

Our goal is to create a better customer experience by:

  • Creating a unified navigation so you can quickly find what you’re looking for
  • Streamlining content to make information clearer and more accessible
  • Providing a clearer view of Elexon’s services, the markets we serve, and how we can help you
  • Introducing additional functionality to the search service and log in service

What’s changing?

When you visit elexon.co.uk, you will now see content across Elexon’s range of services, alongside that of the BSC content. This will provide a more comprehensive view of our work and our expanding role.

At the top of the website you will see a “Services” menu in the navigation bar, that will enable you to quickly jump through to the areas of content that you need to access.

We will be introducing functionality that will enable you to log in once to Elexon’s platforms, using Microsoft Authenticator, giving you access to all of the services that you have the ability to access. This process will be rolled out over the coming months.

We have also introduced an initial enhancement to our site-search facility which will start to open up the content from other parts of our website, making content more accessible to you.

When will this happen?

There will be planned maintenance on the website from 5pm GMT on 26 March for approximately two hours. This will mean that the website will be unavailable during that time. After the maintenance you can continue accessing information without disruption.
